Metro Animal Services Takes Over Oxmoor Mall
On September 19th, members of the Metro Animal Services (MAS) team, along with Friends of Metro Animal Services (FOMAS), arrived at Oxmoor Mall, not to shop, but to host the first in a series of satellite adoption events!
FOMAS is excited to announce a unique collaboration with Spudz and Kroger to benefit Metro Animal Services (MAS) with special thanks to FOMAS Board member Jim Richardson for making the vision a reality.
Hey everyone!
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Justin Franklin, and I have been the Assistant Director of Metro Animal Services (MAS) since June 2023. Upon stepping into this role, I quickly realized the significant need to support the animals in the Louisville Metro community. I am proud to be part of the team working to find these animals their “furever” homes, and I couldn’t do this without the amazing work and support of the MAS staff!

As I reflect on my first thirty days as Executive Director, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and admiration for the incredible individuals who support the work we do here at FOMAS.
